Outlook Express Spell Checker is Only in French, not English!!

So what gives?!!?? You most likely may have installed Office 2007, and now, even though the spell checker in Microsoft Office 2007 is set to English, you can only spell check in French in Outlook Express. Oui?

Whatever! Anyhow, I had this happened to me before and remembered that I had to download an English dictionary.

Spell Checker for OE 2.1 is the answer.  Download it here ->

Very simple install and Presto! It’s there…. Just go under ‘Tools’ -> ‘Options’ -> ‘Spell’. There you have the option of changing the default dictionary and language for spell checker.

Hope this helped!!

But here is a fix I did find at http://www.askdavetaylor.com/stop_outlook_from_asking_for_an_account_password.html.  Dave didn’t provide the answer, but a smart reader did. Here it is: (more…)
