I received today what I thought was an odd request. To install a spell checker on the toolbar of IE7, (Internet Explorer). At first I thought the request didn’t make any sense…. but duh! Wouldn’t I need a spell checker myself if I had a BLOG.

So I searched for one using the trusty Google engine. I found several…. first one I tried I seemed impressed with because of all it’s bells and whistles offered. But it lacked one thing… a stupid icon on the toolbar for SPELLCHECKING.

I uninstalled the last version and continued down the list… Found it:  ieSpell

I installed it and immediately saw what I needed. The icon on the toolbar. It’s an old plug-in but works on most versions of Internet Explorer, even the latest.

Try it, you’ll like it.

Lesson learned here…. don’t always trust the first link in Google will always answer your questions or problems.
